Copy by Jonathan Richardson of Sebastiano Resta's (1635-1714) marginal notes to his collection of Italian drawings, acquired chiefly in the 1680s and 1690s. Fourteen volumes of drawings (Liber A-O) (Lansdowne 802), and two volumes comprising an alphbetical list of artists' names and a chronological list of artists and one of unnamed drawings (Lansdowne 803), were purchased ca. 1710 by Lord John Somers and brought to England. The drawings subsequently were dispersed.
